Butterfly Bliss Fort Worth, Texas Wedding

Jane & Reese’s Fort Worth, Texas wedding was a vibrant celebration that transformed Colonial Country Club into an enchanting butterfly garden, complete with unexpected surprises that perfectly captured their playful personalities (and TCU school spirit).

The day began with getting ready at Hotel Drover before heading to Robert Carr Chapel on the TCU campus for their ceremony. Jane’s colorful butterfly theme came to life through every detail, from the bridesmaids’ light blue gowns to the lush greenery that would later create magic at their reception. After saying “I do” surrounded by the chapel’s timeless elegance, the couple whisked their guests away to the Colonial Country Club, building excitement for the garden party of their dreams.

For couples planning a Fort Worth wedding who want their celebration to feel like stepping into a living work of art, Jane and Reese’s approach was absolutely inspiring. Guests discovered their seats using an impressive champagne wall escort display before walking through a stunning floral tunnel created by GRO Designs that led into the reception space. From the moss-covered cake pedestal to the dance floor literally covered in florals, every corner felt like an enchanted butterfly garden brought to life.

This Colonial Club wedding proved that the most memorable celebrations happen when couples embrace what makes them unique. Between the Mario Kart tournament projected on the big screen (one of their favorite date night activities) and a surprise appearance by the TCU Horned Frog mascot dancing with guests, Jane and Reese showed that sophisticated doesn’t have to mean serious. Their wedding and reception demonstrated that when you combine elegant venues with personal touches and a generous dose of fun, you create something truly unforgettable.
