Rainy Day Romance at Nasher Sculpture Garden in Dallas

Sarah and Brandon brought their playful creativity and love of cozy fall aesthetics to their Nasher Sculpture Garden wedding in Dallas. They approached their celebration with a thoughtful eye for personal details, turning it into a true expression of their relationship—including their devotion to Cashew, their beloved cat. With moody pink hues and romantic fall tones throughout, the day felt intimate and elevated, even when Mother Nature had other plans.

The Nasher Sculpture Garden provided a stunning backdrop for this Dallas wedding, blending contemporary art with lush outdoor spaces. Originally planned as a fully outdoor garden celebration, the day took an unexpected turn when a flood warning hit Dallas. But Sarah had prepared—she’d paid two Etsy witches to keep the rain away, and they sort of came through. A sliver of sunshine appeared just as the ceremony began, allowing Sarah and Brandon to exchange vows outside before moving the reception indoors.

For the couple who wants their wedding to feel like a living reflection of their personality, Sarah and Brandon’s approach is inspiring. They wove Cashew into every corner of the day—larger-than-life cutouts of Cashew’s face became dance floor companions, a custom-designed pattern featuring their cat wrapped the bar, and a tiny figurine perched atop the cake. The moody fall color palette captured the romantic, cozy ambiance they envisioned, while the sculpture garden setting provided an artistic edge.

This is the kind of wedding imagery that speaks to those who want more than tradition. It’s for the couple who values personal touches and wants every frame to feel authentic to who they are. Sarah and Brandon prove that when creativity and genuine love come together—rain and all—the result is unforgettable.
