Every new mom deserves her own little “Eat, Pray, Love” moment, right? When a last-minute ticket to Engage Summits in Morocco became available, I found myself boarding a plane to Marrakesh with my youngest son Atlas still just a baby at home—and it turned out to be one of the most magical experiences of my life. Sometimes the best adventures happen when you say yes before you have time to overthink it.
This collection captures both my film work documenting Morocco’s breathtaking beauty and moments from engage with fellow wedding professional friends during our retreat, taken by my friends at Arte DeVie. From the bustling souks of Marrakesh to the dramatic peaks of the Atlas Mountains, every frame tells the story of a destination that engages all five senses. The colors, textures, and enchanting light make Morocco wedding photography something truly extraordinary for couples seeking a celebration rich with culture and mystery.
Staying at Amanjena was pure luxury—mint tea greeting you in every room, staff who knew your name and order by heart, and that seamless hospitality where no check ever appeared because everything was effortlessly handled. But my favorite memory happened while shopping for the perfect rug in the medina. Picture this: barefoot on handwoven threads that reminded me of watermelon, warm mint tea in hand, incense burning, windows open to the bustling street below. The vendor rolled out rug after rug while my photographer friends and I experienced the most connected, sensory-rich shopping of our lives.
The Engage Summit retreat portion was equally transformative. Between ATV adventures through the Atlas Mountains (how perfectly the universe nodded to me while my little Atlas waited at home) and deep dives into creative growth, I discovered as much about myself as I did about this incredible destination. For wedding photographers considering Morocco for destination shoots, this country offers unparalleled beauty and cultural richness that creates imagery unlike anywhere else.
I’ve been counting down the days to return to Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains since leaving. For couples dreaming of a Morocco wedding, this destination promises an experience that will engage every sense and create memories as rich and textured as the culture itself
